Open Mic Performer Sign-Ups

If you're a budding songwriter or musician looking to share your original work, The Bluebird Cafe's Monday Open Mic might be the perfect opportunity. This event is designed specifically for performers who want to showcase their talent in front of a live audience. Registration happens online, with 18 performance slots available. Spots open up for purchase at 11 AM, and the venue asks that writers avoid signing up for back-to-back weeks to make room for as many performers as possible. During the show, each performer gets to play one or two original songs, either solo or with up to two accompanists. The venue provides a Taylor Grand Pacific guitar and a Kawai digital piano for performers to use, though drums and backing tracks aren't permitted. Performers must arrive early and check in with the host by 5:15 PM to guarantee their spot. Each performer is welcome to bring one guest, whose ticket is available on a first-come, first-served basis once doors open. This is an all-ages event supported by the Recording Industry Association of America.
