Open Mic Performer Sign-Ups

This is a sign-up opportunity for aspiring musicians who want to perform at The Bluebird Cafe's Monday Open Mic show. Performer slots are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis through online registration, with eighteen spots available each week. To participate, you'll need to secure your spot when sign-ups go live, then arrive early enough to check in with the host before the show starts. The venue asks that songwriters avoid performing in back-to-back weeks to give more people a chance to share their work. Each performer gets to play one or two original songs, either solo or with up to two accompanists. The cafe provides a Taylor Grand Pacific guitar and weighted digital piano for performers to use, though drums and backing tracks aren't permitted. You're welcome to bring one guest to support you—they can purchase tickets at the door on a first-come, first-served basis, though seating may not be with your group. This all-ages event is supported by the Recording Industry Association of America and welcomes both established and developing songwriters.
