Open Mic Performer Sign-Ups

Is your child a budding songwriter? The Bluebird Cafe hosts a Monday Open Mic night where musicians can perform their original work. Performers sign up online for one of 18 available slots, with registration opening at 11 AM. Each performer gets to play one or two original songs, either solo or with up to two accompanists. The venue provides a house guitar and digital piano if needed, though drums and backing tracks aren't permitted. Performers must arrive by 5:15 PM to check in with the host before their turn on stage. To keep things fair and inclusive, songwriters are asked not to perform in back-to-back weeks. Each performer may bring one guest to watch the show. Guest tickets aren't reserved ahead of time—they're available on a first-come, first-served basis once doors open, and guests may be seated with other audience members. If plans change, cancellations made at least 48 hours before showtime receive a full refund.
