Paper and Pen—Mice and Men: An America 250 Tale

Paper and Pen—Mice and Men: An America 250 Tale

Free family-friendly history exhibit at Williamson County Archives and Museum.

This one-hour puppet show brings Revolutionary War history to life for the whole family. Old Glory Chapter, NSDAR, created an original production using handcrafted gourd puppets to tell a story centered on American independence and self-government. You can expect humor, music, and chances for the audience to jump in and participate—making this more than just a show to watch. The program is completely free and welcomes everyone. It's designed to introduce both kids and adults to the founding principles of the nation in an entertaining, accessible way. Founder Susie Gentry's award-winning gourd collection inspired the unique puppet designs, giving this performance a special handmade quality you won't find in typical productions.
