Playdate at the Library

Playdate for babies and toddlers at Carnegie Library Main.

Playdate at the Library is a structured playtime designed for the youngest library visitors and their families. During this hour-long session, children from birth through age five can explore toys, games, and activities in the library's dedicated children's space while caregivers connect with one another and the Children's Services staff. It's a relaxed way for families to build community ties and support early learning through hands-on play. This program is completely free to attend and welcomes all caregivers—parents, grandparents, and other adults—who want to spend quality time with the young children in their lives. There's no registration required, just come ready to play and interact with the library's resources and team.
