SPARK! Beaks, Wings, and Nesting Things

SPARK! is Discovery Center's Monday morning program designed for young children who love hands-on exploration. Each two-hour session from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. combines free play, a guided lesson, and a craft activity—all for just $4 per child. It's an affordable way to keep your little ones engaged and curious. This particular session focuses on birds and their behaviors. Children will learn how birds fly, build nests, find food, and communicate with each other. The experience includes a visit to see the Discovery Center's Great Horned Owl up close, followed by bird-themed crafts in the studio. Since spaces fill up quickly, the center strongly recommends registering online in advance rather than dropping in without a reservation.
