SPARK! The Great Pumpkin Investigation

SPARK! The Great Pumpkin Investigation is Discovery Center's Monday morning program designed for young children who love hands-on exploration. During the two-hour session, kids enjoy free play time, participate in a guided hands-on lesson, and complete a themed craft activity—all for just $4 per child. This drop-in format means you can join whenever it fits your family's schedule for a new experience each time. For this session, your little scientist will investigate pumpkins using all their senses—touching, looking, smelling, and listening—to discover how pumpkins grow and change throughout their life cycle. Kids will make predictions and observations as they explore both the inside and outside of pumpkins. Online registration in advance is strongly encouraged since spaces are limited, so plan ahead to secure your spot.
