STARS: The Powerhouses of the Universe
Planetarium show at Adventure Science Center celebrating stars and cosmic power.
STARS: The Powerhouses of the Universe takes viewers on a journey through space to explore how stars form, live, and transform throughout their existence. This 30-minute planetarium show features narration by Mark Hamill and stunning visuals created by the National Space Centre in Leicester, with an original score performed by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. It's designed to help families understand both the beauty and raw power of these cosmic bodies that fuel everything in our universe.
This program works well for elementary-age children and up who are curious about space and astronomy. The show is presented in the Adventure Science Center's planetarium and includes caption options for accessibility—just ask a staff member when you arrive. Tickets are available for purchase online, and the museum is open Monday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm, plus Friday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm (with extended Friday hours during summer).
