STARS: The Powerhouses of the Universe

Planetarium show about stars at Adventure Science Center.

This planetarium show takes audiences on a cosmic journey exploring the life cycles of stars—from their quiet beginnings in clouds of gas and dust to spectacular explosions that light up the universe. The 30-minute program features narration by Mark Hamill, stunning animation created by the National Space Centre in Leicester, and an original musical score performed by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. It's a dramatic, visually immersive experience perfect for elementary-aged children and older who are curious about space and astronomy. The show is presented at the Sudekum Planetarium, part of the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. Captions are available upon request—just let a staff member know when you arrive. Tickets can be purchased online, and the museum is open Monday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm, and Friday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm (with extended summer hours on Fridays). For details about accessibility accommodations and other visitor information, check the Adventure Science Center website.
