STARS: The Powerhouses of the Universe

Journey through space and discover the life stories of stars in this immersive planetarium show. You'll travel across the galaxy to witness the beauty and power of stars at every stage of their existence—from their birth in cosmic dust clouds to their dramatic endings. This 30-minute presentation features the distinctive voice of Mark Hamill alongside stunning animation created by the National Space Centre in Leicester, with an original musical score performed by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. The program works well for elementary-age children and up. Closed captions are available upon request at the planetarium entrance, and the Adventure Science Center is committed to accessibility for all visitors. Tickets can be purchased at the venue, and be aware that the museum is transitioning to a day-pass ticketing system in July. The center operates Monday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm, and Friday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm (with extended summer hours on Fridays).
