STARS: The Powerhouses of the Universe
Planetarium show exploring stars & cosmic forces at Adventure Science Center.
This planetarium show takes viewers on a cosmic journey exploring the life cycles of stars—from their quiet birth in clouds of gas and dust to their brilliant, explosive endings. The 30-minute program features stunning animation created by the National Space Centre in Leicester, along with narration by Mark Hamill. The Nashville Symphony Orchestra, under conductor Albert-George Schram, performs part of the original score, making this both a visual and auditory experience for the whole family.
The show works well for elementary-aged children and older, offering an engaging introduction to how stars power our universe. Captions are available upon request at the planetarium entrance. You'll find this program at the Sudekum Planetarium, part of the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. Visit the museum's website to purchase tickets and check current hours before your visit, as the schedule varies by day of the week.
