STEM Discovery Lab

Your middle schooler can spend a Saturday morning rotating through hands-on science stations at Adventure Science Center's new Learning Lab. Each week features different activities—robotics, paleontology, microscopy, and engineering challenges—designed to let kids work at their own pace while tackling real-world problems. Trained staff are there to offer guidance if your child gets stuck, but the experience is self-directed and exploratory. This program is brand new and actively shaping itself based on participant feedback. During the initial 6-8 weeks, you'll see a rotating lineup of stations so your child can discover what sparks their interest most. Share what they loved or want to dive deeper into, and the center will use that input to shape future sessions. Best of all, participation is included with your general admission ticket, so there's no extra cost beyond entry to the museum.
