STEM Discovery Lab

Your teen can dive into hands-on science and engineering at this weekly lab held at Adventure Science Center's Learning Lab. Each session features rotating stations where middle schoolers and older kids explore robotics, paleontology, microscopy, engineering, and other topics while working through real-world challenges. Staff facilitators are available to guide them if they get stuck, but kids move at their own pace and direct their own learning. This is a brand-new program, and the museum is actively shaping it based on visitor feedback. For the first six to eight weeks, expect a variety of different stations and topics. If your teen loves a particular area, let the facilitators know—their input helps determine which topics the lab will focus on more deeply going forward. The best part? It's included with general admission, so no extra ticket is needed.
