STEM Discovery Lab

Your middle schooler can dive into hands-on science activities at the Adventure Science Center's new weekly lab. Each session features rotating stations covering robotics, paleontology, microscopy, engineering, and other topics—all designed to let kids work through real-world challenges at their own pace. Trained staff members are available if your child needs guidance, but the focus is on self-directed exploration and problem-solving. Since this program is brand new, the first six to eight weeks will showcase a variety of different topics. The center actively welcomes your feedback about what worked, what didn't, and what subjects your child wants to explore more deeply. This input will shape the program's direction going forward. Participation is included with your general admission ticket, so there's no extra charge beyond regular museum entry.
