Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday invites kids to explore the science hiding in everyday cooking at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. During this hands-on session, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning how cooking works—from why dough rises to how chocolate melts. Instructors guide kids through basic culinary techniques while they create their own edible discoveries, blending STEAM learning with the joy of making something delicious. This program is perfect for kids who are curious about food and ready to get creative in the kitchen. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants and is included with regular museum admission, so there's no extra fee beyond what you'd normally pay to visit. It's a fun, tasty way for children to build confidence in the kitchen while having hands-on learning adventures.
