Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday invites kids to become kitchen scientists at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. During this hands-on program, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while discovering the chemistry behind cooking. They'll learn how everyday foods transform through techniques like mixing and heating, observing reactions such as rising dough or melting chocolate. The experience is designed to build confidence in the kitchen while keeping things fun and delicious—kids even get to make apple donuts! This program is included with museum admission and welcomes up to 24 children per session. It's a great fit for young learners who enjoy getting messy, asking questions, and tasting the results of their culinary experiments. If your child is curious about how food works and loves hands-on activities, Tasty Tuesday offers the perfect blend of STEAM learning and creative play.
