Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. Kids get hands-on with real cooking, mixing ingredients and experimenting to see how foods transform. Your child will learn the science behind everyday cooking—watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and discovering the chemistry that makes it all happen. Instructors guide children through measuring, mixing, and basic culinary techniques while they create edible projects like apple donuts. This program is included with regular museum admission and works great for kids who want to build confidence in the kitchen while having fun. Each session has room for up to 24 participants, so spots are limited. It's the perfect blend of STEAM learning and hands-on creativity for young cooks ready to explore what happens when science meets food.
