Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! During this hands-on cooking program, kids get to mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning the "why" behind cooking. Your child will discover how ingredients interact, watch chemical reactions happen (like dough rising or chocolate melting), and build confidence with basic culinary skills—all while creating something delicious to enjoy. This one-hour session is led by experienced instructors who blend STEAM learning with creativity and fun. The program is included with museum admission, and each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so it fills up quickly. It's a great fit for kids who are curious about food, science, or just love hands-on activities.
