Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. Kids dive into hands-on cooking activities where they mix ingredients, observe chemical reactions, and create their own edible projects—like apple donuts! With guidance from experienced instructors, children discover how everyday cooking involves real science: watching dough rise, melting chocolate, and learning techniques like measuring and mixing. This program blends STEAM learning with creative, practical fun, giving kids a chance to build confidence in the kitchen while exploring how ingredients work together. The session accommodates up to 24 participants and is included with general admission to the Discovery Center. It's a great fit for families looking to combine education with a tasty, interactive experience.
