Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! During this one-hour session, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning the chemistry behind cooking. Kids discover how everyday foods transform through simple techniques—watching dough rise, observing chocolate melt, and understanding how ingredients interact. Expert instructors guide the hands-on exploration, helping young chefs build confidence in the kitchen while having fun with STEAM learning. This program works wonderfully for kids curious about cooking and science alike. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants, and admission to Tasty Tuesday is included with your Discovery Center entry fee—no separate registration required. It's a flavorful way to spark interest in both culinary skills and the science that makes cooking possible.
