Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings cooking and science together in one delicious program at the Discovery Center. Kids gather in the FRANKE Kitchen to mix, measure, and create edible projects—like ham and cheese pinwheels—while learning the chemistry behind cooking. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children discover how ingredients interact and transform, observing reactions like rising dough and melting chocolate. It's a hands-on way for young cooks to build confidence in the kitchen while having genuine fun. This program is included with your admission to the Discovery Center, though spaces are limited to 24 participants per session. It's a great fit for kids interested in food, science, or just trying something creative and tasty. Whether your child is a budding chef or simply curious about how cooking works, Tasty Tuesday offers the perfect blend of STEAM learning and real-world kitchen skills in a supportive environment.
