During this interactive hour, kids get hands-on with real cooking while learning the chemistry happening in every mixing bowl and oven. Your child will measure, stir, experiment with ingredients, and discover how everyday foods transform through basic culinary techniques. They'll observe chemical reactions like rising dough and melting chocolate—all while building confidence in the kitchen and having genuine fun with an experienced instructor. This program is included with your admission to the Discovery Center, making it an easy addition to your visit. Sessions cap at 24 participants, so there's plenty of space for meaningful engagement. Whether your child is a curious cook or just loves hands-on learning, Tasty Tuesday offers a delicious blend of STEAM education and creative discovery that goes well beyond a typical Tuesday afternoon.
