Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday is a hands-on cooking program where kids dive into the science of food right in the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. During this interactive session, children measure, mix, and experiment with real ingredients to create edible projects—like apple donuts—while learning how cooking involves chemistry. A knowledgeable instructor guides kids through the basics of culinary techniques and shows them fascinating reactions, such as how dough rises or chocolate melts. It's a perfect blend of STEAM learning and creative fun for children who want to build confidence in the kitchen. This program is included with your admission to the Discovery Center, so there's no extra fee beyond entry. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so spots may fill up.
