Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday at Discovery Center invites kids to explore the delicious science of cooking in the FRANKE Kitchen. During this hands-on session, children stir, mix, and experiment with real ingredients while learning how foods transform through cooking. Your child will discover the chemistry behind everyday culinary magic—like why dough rises or how chocolate melts—while building practical kitchen skills such as measuring and mixing. This program blends STEAM learning with creative, edible fun, and kids get to take home tasty creations like apple donuts. Sessions are led by experienced instructors and kept to a small group of 24 participants maximum, ensuring plenty of hands-on time. Admission to this activity is included with general museum entry, making it a great way to spend an afternoon while building kitchen confidence in a supportive environment.
