Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! During this hands-on program, children dive into the chemistry of cooking by mixing, measuring, and experimenting with real ingredients. Kids will discover how foods transform through simple reactions—watch dough rise, see chocolate melt, and create tasty treats like apple donuts. Instructors guide children through basic cooking techniques while they learn the science happening right in their bowls and on the stovetove. This interactive session is perfect for kids who love exploring, creating, and eating delicious results. The program is included with general museum admission, and each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so spots may fill up. It's a fun way for children to build confidence in the kitchen while discovering that cooking is really just science you can taste!
