Kids dive into kitchen science at this hands-on cooking program held in the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. During the session, children mix ingredients, observe chemical reactions, and create edible treats while learning basic culinary techniques like measuring and mixing. It's a practical introduction to how food works, blending STEAM concepts with real cooking experience—and of course, enjoying what they make along the way. This program works well for kids who are curious about cooking and enjoy getting hands-on with food and ingredients. Each session caps at 24 participants, and admission is included with general museum entry. It's a fun way for children to build confidence in the kitchen while discovering the science happening right in their bowls and on their plates.
