Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! During this hands-on program, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients to create edible projects—like apple donuts—while learning how cooking works. Kids observe the chemistry happening right in their bowls, from rising dough to melting chocolate, all while building practical culinary skills and confidence in the kitchen. This interactive session combines STEAM learning with the fun of making something delicious to enjoy. The program welcomes up to 24 participants per session and is included with your museum admission, so there's no extra cost beyond entry. It's a wonderful way for young chefs to explore food science through play and discovery.
