Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday invites kids to become junior food scientists at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. During this hands-on session, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning how cooking works from a chemistry perspective. Your child might explore what happens when dough rises, how chocolate melts, or transform simple apples into homemade donuts—all while building practical kitchen skills and confidence in the process. This program combines STEAM learning with the joy of creating something delicious to eat. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants and is included with your Discovery Center admission, so there's no extra cost beyond your regular museum entry. The experience is led by knowledgeable instructors who guide children through the science and techniques of cooking in a fun, supportive environment.
