Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday at Discovery Center brings kitchen science to life in the FRANKE Kitchen, where kids become junior chefs and food scientists all at once. During this hands-on program, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning how cooking works—from watching dough rise to observing chocolate melt. The experience blends STEAM learning with creative fun, helping kids build confidence in the kitchen while discovering the delicious chemistry happening in every recipe. This session includes making mini fruit pizzas and is led by knowledgeable instructors who guide children through basic culinary techniques and the science behind them. The program is included with general admission to the Discovery Center, though each session is limited to 24 participants, so spaces may fill up. It's a great fit for kids who are curious about food, cooking, or how things work—and who don't mind getting their hands a little messy in the name of learning.
