Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! Kids get hands-on experience mixing, measuring, and experimenting with real ingredients while learning the chemistry behind cooking. Your child will discover how ingredients interact, watch chemical reactions happen (like dough rising or chocolate melting), and build confidence with basic culinary techniques—all while creating something delicious to enjoy. This interactive program is led by experienced instructors who make learning fun and approachable. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so spots are available but limited. The good news: Tasty Tuesday is included with your regular museum admission, making it an easy addition to your visit. It's a perfect fit for kids who are curious about food, science, and trying new things in a supportive, creative environment.
