Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. Kids dive into hands-on cooking experiments where they'll mix, measure, and create their own edible projects—like apple donuts! Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children discover how ingredients work together, exploring the chemistry behind everyday cooking techniques. They'll observe reactions like rising dough and melting chocolate while building real kitchen skills and confidence in a fun, interactive setting. This program is included with regular admission to the Discovery Center, making it an affordable way to combine learning and creativity. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so spots fill up quickly. It's a perfect activity for kids who love hands-on discovery and want to understand the science hidden in their favorite foods.
