Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday invites children to become junior food scientists at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. During this hands-on session, kids mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning how cooking works. Your child will explore the chemistry behind everyday cooking — watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and flavors combine — all while building practical kitchen skills in a fun, guided environment. This session is perfect for kids curious about food and science. Each Tasty Tuesday session welcomes up to 24 participants and is included with your museum admission. Professional instructors lead the activities, making this a great way for children to gain confidence in the kitchen while discovering that cooking is pure science in action. It's an engaging blend of learning and creativity that leaves kids with both new skills and tasty results to enjoy.
