Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center! Kids gather in the FRANKE Kitchen to mix, measure, and cook their way through hands-on experiments that reveal the chemistry hiding in everyday food. During this one-hour session, your child will work with knowledgeable instructors to explore how ingredients transform—watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and creating their own apple donuts. It's a perfect blend of STEAM learning and culinary discovery that builds real kitchen skills while having genuine fun. This program is included with regular museum admission, making it an easy addition to your visit. Each session welcomes up to 24 children, so spots do fill up. Whether your child is curious about cooking, loves hands-on learning, or simply enjoys making (and eating!) tasty creations, Tasty Tuesday offers a flavorful way to explore science in action.
