Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen chemistry to life at the Discovery Center! Kids gather in the FRANKE Kitchen to mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning the science behind cooking. Through hands-on activities like making apple donuts, children discover how food transforms—watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and ingredients interact in delicious ways. It's a perfect introduction to both culinary techniques and STEAM learning, all wrapped up in one fun, edible adventure. This program welcomes young learners ready to build confidence in the kitchen while having a blast. Sessions are led by instructors and capped at 24 participants to keep things manageable and engaging. Best of all, Tasty Tuesday is included with regular museum admission, making it an easy add-on to your Discovery Center visit. It's the kind of activity that turns everyday cooking into an exciting exploration.
