Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. Your child will mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning the chemistry behind cooking. Through hands-on activities like making apple donuts, kids discover how ingredients transform—watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and flavors combine. Experienced instructors guide children through basic culinary techniques while exploring the science that makes cooking work. This program is included with regular museum admission and perfect for kids who are curious about food and enjoy getting creative in the kitchen. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so spots are available but can fill up. It's a great way for children to build confidence with cooking skills while having fun and enjoying what they create.
