Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! During this one-hour program, kids mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning the science behind cooking. Your child will discover how ingredients interact, watch chemical reactions happen (like dough rising or chocolate melting), and build confidence with basic culinary techniques—all while creating something delicious to enjoy. This hands-on STEAM experience is led by instructors who guide children through the cooking process in a fun, educational way. Sessions are limited to 24 participants, and admission to the program is included with your Discovery Center entry. It's a great option for kids who enjoy getting messy, love food, or want to explore how science happens in everyday cooking.
