Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday is an interactive cooking program held in the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen where kids dive into the delicious world of food science. During each session, children mix, measure, and experiment with ingredients while learning the chemistry behind cooking — from how dough rises to how chocolate melts. Guided by experienced instructors, participants build hands-on culinary skills and confidence while creating tasty treats they can actually eat. This STEAM-focused activity blends learning with creativity and fun, making it perfect for children who are curious about how food works. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants and is included with regular museum admission, so there's no extra cost beyond your entry. It's a great way for kids to explore kitchen science while enjoying the reward of their own edible creations.
