Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen. Kids dive into hands-on cooking activities where they measure, mix, and experiment with real ingredients to create edible treats—like apple donuts! Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children discover the chemistry behind cooking, observing how ingredients transform through mixing, heating, and rising. It's a practical introduction to both culinary skills and STEAM learning wrapped into one engaging session. This program is included with your regular museum admission, making it a great addition to a visit to the Discovery Center. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants, so spots may fill up during busy times. It's perfect for kids who are curious about food, enjoy hands-on activities, or want to build confidence in the kitchen while having fun exploring how cooking actually works.
