Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday at the Discovery Center invites kids to step into the FRANKE Kitchen and discover the science hiding in everyday cooking. During this interactive session, children mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients while learning how foods transform through chemical reactions—like watching dough rise or chocolate melt. Our instructors guide young chefs through hands-on activities that build both culinary confidence and STEAM skills, all while creating something delicious to enjoy. This program blends learning with creative fun, making it perfect for kids who are curious about how food works. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants and is included with museum admission, so there's no extra fee beyond your entry. It's a great way for families to explore cooking as a science while spending time together at the Discovery Center.
