Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen chemistry to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! Kids get hands-on experience mixing, measuring, and experimenting with real ingredients while learning the science behind cooking. Your child will discover how everyday foods transform through simple techniques—watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and ingredients interact in surprising ways. It's a delicious blend of STEAM learning and creativity, perfect for building kitchen confidence while having genuine fun. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants and is led by experienced instructors who guide children through culinary basics and the chemical reactions happening right in their mixing bowls. Best of all, this program is included with regular museum admission, so there's no extra fee. It's an ideal activity for families looking to combine learning with edible rewards—kids leave not just with new skills, but often with tasty creations they've made themselves.
