Tasty Tuesday

Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen, where kids get hands-on with cooking and explore the chemistry happening in every recipe. Children mix ingredients, measure, observe reactions like rising dough or melting chocolate, and learn basic culinary techniques while discovering how food works. It's a blend of STEAM learning and creativity that helps build kitchen confidence in a fun, interactive setting. Each session welcomes up to 24 participants and is included with regular museum admission. Kids leave with both new skills and something delicious they've made themselves—like the apple donuts featured in this program. It's a great way for young cooks to explore food science and gain hands-on experience in the kitchen alongside knowledgeable instructors.
