Tasty Tuesday brings kitchen science to life at the Discovery Center's FRANKE Kitchen! Kids dive into hands-on cooking activities where they'll mix, measure, and experiment with real ingredients. During this interactive session, your child will explore the chemistry behind cooking—watching dough rise, chocolate melt, and ingredients transform into delicious creations. Experienced instructors guide children through basic culinary techniques while they discover how science happens in everyday food preparation.
This program is included with museum admission, making it an affordable way to build your child's kitchen confidence and creativity. Sessions are capped at 24 participants, so there's plenty of space for hands-on learning. Kids will get to take home what they make—including apple donuts during this particular session—giving them a tasty reminder of their scientific adventure. Perfect for children curious about cooking and eager to explore STEAM learning through a delicious, practical activity.
