The Stellars – Misson: Green

Your young space explorers will love this interactive planetarium show designed for children ages 3 to 8. The story follows three alien friends—Imani, Aki, and John—whose ship crashes on Earth after they neglect their onboard duties. The accident damages their life-support system and threatens the forest they depend on for survival. With no way to contact help and no experience caring for plants, the young visitors become the heroes of the story, working alongside the Stellars to figure out what plants need to thrive. This is an engaging way for little ones to learn about plant care and environmental science while enjoying an adventure in the planetarium. The show uses audience participation to keep kids involved as they race against time to save the Yumi-Plumi forest. You can purchase tickets through the Adventure Science Center's website, and note that ticketing transitions to a day-pass system in July. The planetarium is open most days with extended summer hours on Fridays.
