Writers Night hosted by Barbara Cloyd

Since 1986, Sunday Writers Night has been a weekly showcase for aspiring songwriters who've earned their place through an audition process. Each performer takes the stage for a three-song set in The Bluebird's intimate listening room—a perfect setting to hear new music up close. Local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie hosts the evening, which is free to attend thanks to support from the Recording Industry Association of America. Only minor fees apply to cover website costs. When you reserve tickets, know that there's a $15 per seat food or drink minimum, and you'll need to choose your seating when booking (tables, bar seats, or first-come-first-served pew seating). Groups can reserve up to 6 seats per order, and if your party is smaller than your table, you may share with other guests. If your plans change, you can cancel for a full refund as long as you do so at least 48 hours ahead—just email the cafe or call during their Monday–Friday business hours. This event is open to all ages.
