Writers Night hosted by Barbara Cloyd at The Bluebird Cafe
Step into an intimate evening of emerging songwriting talent at The Bluebird Cafe's long-running Sunday Writers Night. Since 1986, this weekly showcase has given aspiring musicians a chance to perform three-song sets in a dedicated listening room built to nurture their craft. Local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie guides the evening. Best of all, admission is free thanks to support from the Recording Industry Association of America—you'll only pay minimal fees to cover website costs.
Keep in mind that while entry is complimentary, the venue does require a $15 per-person food or drink minimum, plus applicable taxes and fees. Seating options include reserved tables and bar spots, as well as first-come, first-served church pew seating available when doors open. Groups can reserve up to six seats per order. This is a wonderful opportunity for families who enjoy live music and want to experience Nashville's songwriting community in action. If your plans change, cancellations made at least 48 hours ahead receive a full refund; those made closer to showtime are non-refundable.
